This course teaches you to be a much safer, more confident driver. In-class instruction emphasizes driver control, collision avoidance, and driver psychology as well as tips about: adjusting your seat correctly, positioning mirrors to eliminate blind spots, vision training and processing information, and how safety features, such as ABS really work.

In-car instruction includes the following exercises: Collision Avoidance: Simulated sudden obstacles in your vehicles path, this exercise teaches you to brake and steer into a narrow escape lane while maintaining control of your vehicle. Slalom: Develop smooth, precise steering techniques while honing your reaction time. Learn the proper turn-in and unwind technique without the danger of over correcting. Emergency Lane Change: Maintain complete control while maneuvering into the next lane and back. The lane change shows you how to manage unpredictable situations in multi-lane environments. Skid Pad: Recognize and correct under steer (front wheel skid) and overseer (rear wheel skid), and learn how to avoid it.
